Are you a self-employed freelance worker who received a 1099 through the Quickbooks contractor portal? This month, the Contractor Portal experience migrated from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to QuickBooks Money. This migration affects the following features within the portal:
- Managing and sharing W-9 forms
- Downloading 1099 forms
- Sharing bank information for direct deposits
What’s Changing?
While the Contractor Portal features moved to QuickBooks Money, paid QBSE users will still have access to all other QBSE features. However, to manage W-9 forms, download 1099s, or share bank details, you’ll need to use QuickBooks Money.
What Do You Need to Do?
No action is required on your end for your account migration. Intuit took care of the migration. You will use the same sign-in information from your current QuickBooks Self-Employed account to access your information through QuickBooks Money
Intuit has updated the terms of service, and I have included a link in the description so you can see what will apply to you since the migration to QuickBooks money If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to QuickBooks experts at 800-446-8848.
