Women from the South Bay (Los Angeles area) and beyond are looking forward to the third annual South Bay Women’s Conference. This full-day event organized by the South Bay Business Women’s Association (SBBWA) welcomes purpose-driven and service-minded women into a motivating environment of empowerment, respect, laughter, and learning, while simultaneously providing college scholarships to South Bay Women. This year’s theme is Inspiring Women: Business, Life & Beyond.
This fantastic conference is being held on Friday, May 6, 2016, at the Torrance Marriott from 8:00 am-3:00 pm with shopping and a cocktail party after the close of the event. Vendors will include both service and product-based industries such as jewelry, candles, clothing, and more. There will be two keynote speakers, a panel discussion, and the opportunity to choose from 4 different breakout sessions.
The keynote speakers are Mallika Chopra (mom, media entrepreneur, public speaker, and published author – and daughter of Deepak Chopra) and Terri A. Haack (president of Terranea Resort, mom, business leader, and community supporter). Mallika is the founder of intent.com, a website and app focused on personal, social, and global wellness. She intends to harness the power of social media to connect people from around the world to improve their own lives, their communities, and the planet. As a successful business leader, Terri blends her effective business vision with a passionate commitment to positively make a difference, both in the world of business and the community she serves.
