I’m so excited to share that I’m a co-author of another soon-to-be released book Navigating Entrepreneurship which launches July 22nd.  This book is all about the journey of being a business owner. There is no straight path – the road is bumpy and filled with twists, turns and potholes. Sometimes you slow down for the curves, and other times you step on the gas and accelerate full speed ahead.  Each author shares some of her personal journey through entrepreneurship, including the ups and downs of being a business owner.  In my chapter, I discuss three areas to help you be successful: pricing your products/services, preparing for help through the creation of documented processes, and setting boundaries.  I’ve made mistakes in my business and I share part of that journey with you in my chapter.

Last year when this opportunity presented itself to me, I had just completed writing my chapter for Business Success With Ease (available on my website herewhich I had never thought of doing.  It took me years to finally start a newsletter and blog because I wasn’t sure anyone really wanted to read what I might possibly share.  I know many people think what I do isn’t fun (which is why they have me do it!) so why would they want to read information on the subject?  I was finally convinced to start writing content and began posting information in 2012.  The leap to writing a chapter in a book that would be available nationwide (or even worldwide) was even scarier.  But I decided to jump in and do it, and afterward I felt a sense of accomplishment.  Business Success With Ease was not going to be available for many more months when the opportunity to write for Navigating Entrepreneurship was available.  I didn’t know if what I wrote would be well received, but I decided to take the leap again, this time sharing more about my personal experience.  I hope you find it interesting!

Other co-authors include Cathy Alessandra, Stephanie Otero, Bibi Goldstein, Debbie Saviano, Yvonne Larson, Pam Russell, Robin Taney, Michele Pariza Wacek, Chris Atley, and Jaime Geffner.  Mark your calendar to purchase this book on July 22nd at www.navigatingentrepreneurship.com to receive bonuses from each author on launch day!

I am thankful I overcame my uncertainty of becoming an author as I feel the information I share is helpful and needed.  I’ve heard great feedback from my first go at it, and am hoping to hear the same from this one as well.  I’d love to hear your feedback after you’ve read it.  You can post comments in our Facebook page here or post a comment on this blog.  And I’m always thankful for your support!
