Did you have a wonderful 4th of July? Whether you traveled to visit with family or stayed home for a relaxing day, I hope it was enjoyable. I actually had work to complete, so I took the time away from the office to write content for a bonus that will be available with a soon-to-be released book, but that is information for another post. However, I did take time off in the evening to enjoy the festivities at CBS Studios. One of my clients is the caterer for the event each year. She gave VIP tickets to us again so that we could enjoy their amazing food and the fireworks show.
I always enjoy going to this event for a couple of reasons. The main reason is I love their BBQ (and now I can only get it when I attend their catered events). Secondly, I enjoy seeing how everyone in attendance is having fun, savoring dinner, and it gives me the chance to say I’ve seen events they have planned/catered. If I know someone in need of a corporate event planner, I won’t hesitate to recommend Industry Events and I have first hand experience on how amazing those events are.
This year my son and his girlfriend attended with us, neither of whom had been before. I heard great feedback from them both. They had plenty to eat, enjoyed some of the activities, and loved watching the fantastic fireworks show from our place 6 stories in the air. We had a great view of fireworks shows in the area before the ones at CBS Studios began (one of which I believe was Universal Studios which is just down the road). I was able to introduce my client to my son and his girlfriend too. I love when our personal and business lives can intersect and we interact on more than just in the area of our fields of expertise.
