I’m excited to announce that I have been chosen as one of 10 finalists for an Entrepreneur Mom Award. I saw information about the opportunity when a friend posted a comment on Facebook about applying and I looked into it. The requirement was to have a professional video created and submitted. I didn’t have the equipment or the know-how to create a video of that caliber, but thankfully I had met someone recently who specializes in videos for business.
There was a very short time frame for me to submit the application and video, and most of the days I was going to be gone at an event in downtown LA due to my being a vendor sponsor. Luckily the one day I had available the videographer had open as well. The process was pretty easy. He came to my office, set up his equipment, asked me some questions recorded my responses, and wrapped it up after about an hour. A few days later he sent me the link with the completed video, and I was able to send in my application that night (with two days to spare!)
So why am I writing about this in my blog? Because I need your help! The winner of this award is based on the most unique voters submitting their choices online.
