Last week I started reviewing resumes to fill a newly created position for my office.  The hiring process is never easy, but I’m excited for this new chapter in my business.  The employee will help me with prospect follow-up, customer communication/scheduling of work, and assisting me with tasks as an office manager.  I’ve been an employer for 5 1/2 years, so it’s about time I have a manager.

I’m looking forward to having a new perspective in the office to see what changes might be implemented to improve our processes.  I’m open to input from my employees as I know they often have great ideas on how to do the work.  I’ve already had a few ideas I’d like to implement, so having a manager to help with that is something I’m looking forward to over the next few months.

Having help in the office will allow me to do more of the things I’ve had percolating in the back of my mind.  As I get closer to offering new services, I’ll share the information.  In the meantime, be ready to hear an announcement shortly that I’ve hired a new employee.  I’ll most likely post a picture on my business Facebook page once I’ve determined who the new employee is.  I like my customers to know who they are talking to, and pictures help with that.

If there is any feedback you have for us, please feel free to e-mail us at [email protected] or call the office at 310-534-5577.
