Are you a self-employed freelance worker who received a 1099 through the Quickbooks contractor portal? This month, the Contractor Portal experience will migrate from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to QuickBooks Money. This migration affects the following features within the portal:

  • Managing and sharing W-9 forms
  • Downloading 1099 forms
  • Sharing bank information for direct deposits

What’s Changing?

While the Contractor Portal features are moving to QuickBooks Money, paid QBSE users will still have access to all other QBSE features. However, to manage W-9 forms, download 1099s, or share bank details after the migration, you’ll need to use QuickBooks Money.

What Do You Need to Do?

No action is required on your end for your account migration. Intuit will take care of the migration. Use the same sign-in information from your current QuickBooks Self-Employed account to access your information through QuickBooks Money
